Indonesia is hosting around fourteen thousand refugees seeking for protection and searching for means of access to education for their children. Since the beginning of 2020, Skilled Migrant and Refugee Technicians (SMART) has been working to improve the lives of refugees by providing them with access to free online courses of technical knowledge
How it works
This is another project from SMART which aims to help refugees to learn skills to earn money (make livelihood) and work online as freelancer or for companies who need their skills. We focus on refugees who are willing to learn various skills for their future such as Graphic Designing, Website Designing, IT, CV writing and video/ audio editing. It will help the refugees learn skills needed to make a livelihood through internet and solve their own financial issues. It will also make them ready for their lives after getting resettled to other countries.
